The Russell School of Ministry can only succeed with gifts from friends like you.
Why the Russell School of Ministry?
While many churches require a ministry degree, students and organizations are valuing it less than before. You have probably seen these two problems for yourself: Christian college graduates often have too much debt and too little experience.
Providing affordable ministry training in a metropolitan area is possible. The Russell School of Ministry is a ministry training option with real-world experience and without educational debt. Addressing these two problems is essential to meeting the future leadership needs of our churches.

Students who meet the rigorous expectations of admissions will receive a scholarship that pays for 100% of the cost of a ministry certificate. This opportunity will protect them from carrying oppressive student debt, which often is a distraction to their ministries, a threat to their marriages, and a limitation on their leadership.
RSM is designed to be free to its students through a combination of partnerships, donations, scholarships, discounts, and paid internships. Gifts from individuals like you and churches like yours are needed so the next generation of church leaders can become who God wants them to become so that they can do what He’s asking them to do.

You know how important real-world experience is for a minister.
Now for the experience problem. You know how important real-world experience is for a minister. Reading books and writing papers are not enough to equip a church leader. Many ministers love Jesus, know His Word, and feel called to lead. However, as many as 70% will exit the vocational ministry within their first seven years. Among the many factors behind this sad reality is a lack of hands-on experience.
To address this problem, RSM has enlisted about 20 healthy churches and organizations to be part of a unique residency program. During their intensive 2-year training period, students practice by applying ministry theory to real-life situations. They are supervised, mentored, and discipled by a successful ministry leader. This results in each student receiving more than 1,750 hours of supervised, hands-on church experience prior to graduation.
